Click on page 3.

All I have to say is watchout for those Sleeper Camrys and Solaras. Dull, boring...perfect way to make a sleeper, via Camry. The base boost on the Kazuma SC which Stillen now sells is 4.5 psi. With intake and exhaust those guys are running 227 to 236 wheel hp.

So for you guys in SoCal, be very careful, you might accidently race a Camry/Solara V6 5-speed and SC (though not many probably), and be very suprised.

P.S. I'm not implying anything bad about Maximas, since Honda Accord V6 cannot be had with a manual (HKS Turbo eats the transmission), the other competition for Jap 3.0L V6 5-speeds are Camry/Solara or Eclipse GT.

P.S.S. Tiem has the SC in his Camry also (I believe it's a 97 CE V6)

Hmm.

Fortunantely none of the SoCal (or NorCal) guys are stupid enough to street race anyway RIGHT??!?!?!

Actually a 4.5psi SC'ed Camry or Solara doesn't worry me in the grand scheme of things. It's when those owners start buying fuel upgrades and smaller pulleys.

(well ok I have breaches of self-control also, but that's not the point....

well, I would probably never race against some random people on the road, unless they really **** me off, so it's not a big deal to me.

I wasn't too fond of the body kits on the Camry's either, but I thought the Solara ones look pretty nice. The Solara was the other car I was considering heavily before getting the Maxima. But since it didn't offer a 5sp, I had to go with the max.

The older Camrys 92-96 there had Rod Millen's Touring Air Dam (from his NATCC car). RMM had two, one for the 92-94 Camry's and another for the 95-96 Camrys. I think one had Erebuni rock er panels (which IMO, owners should of color-matched the OE black rocker panel trim).

The Solaras body kits are from TRD.

I thought it was TRD but wasn't sure so I didn't say it before. How much does that kit run for? Maybe I'll convince a friend of mine to get one..hehe.

I think that some of the kits look cool just because they are different. Some company needs to make a crazy kit like those for the maxima---like a big mouth front bumper.

Cheapo

The Solara kits come from the dealership. Though you will find a lower price at places such as http://www.toyotaparts4u.com or partznet.com.
