Now the real test of the 5spd swap...

How does it run at the track? 15.25 @ 92mph, thats how! First time at the track driving a 5spd. I got mad spin in first gear, bad chirp-spin in on the 2nd shift, and a good chirp on 3rd each time. My average times were 15.4 @ 90mph, but I know I can do better with more practice. I also had over 3/4 tank of gas, and I didn't pull anything out of the car. I wanted to run how I would on the street, feel how fast the car is everyday. Feels really weird to have both wheels spinning I missed 3rd a couple times too, due to a very stiff short shifter, and it's not even half way lowered! Track was pretty warm tonight, probably 87 or so... I took my girls brother for a run down the track, and beat a Del Sol at the same time with a 15.7 Oh yeah, reaction times sucked too... 1.18

Both wheels were spinning?

VLSD pretty mcuh means you won't have a one wheel wonder and power will get planted equally.

15.4 N/A was my average time auto. I really need to work on my launches, they were all wheel spin. I tried to keep the RPM around 2500 and feather it out, but I usually ended up at 5k spinning the wheels HARD. Once I get that down, I know my times will drop a lot. Gotta sand the ball on the short shifter some more too...

My best auto time was a 15.5 and the first time at the track with the swap was a 16.1 with very bad wheel spin. The best that night was a 15.1. Now after about 30 passes I have got it down to a 14.5. Your times will gradually get better and better.
