I'm thinking about getting a hold of some 5th gen parts and putting it on my 4th generation. Namely, the intake and exhaust manifolds, so hopefully my car will make more power. i know the Y2k 2 stage muffler mod is very popular too. What other 5th gen parts will fit the 4th gen? any other engine parts?

If you get the 2K intake manifold, you may need the 2K ecu too. The 95-99 ECU's will not be able to operate the dual stage intake manifold of the 2000 Maxima. I believe that JWT can reprogram and add a solinoid to make the 95-99 ECU work with it, but it will cost you about $1000 for the reprogramming and solinoid when I last checked. Good Luck !!!! Let us know if it works out.

I duno?

Why would yo have to use the 2k ECU. Shouldn't you be able to use a rpm switch (~$40) to activate the manifold? I havent seen the 2k setup, but I have asked some of the 5g oweners about it. The intake switches over quickly, not slowley. So if its electrically operated an rpm switch would do it. You would need some dyno runs to get it set to switch at the optimal point. But I'd imagine the at @4k+ is where it would help out. If you get the manifold you will need the actuaction part also. I question if the 5g manifold ports will line up with the 4g heads?

But their is no need to give JWT a freakin grand, ****, Clark and crew @ JWT might as well pick you pocket.
