Ruby armrest - Yay or Nay?

This isn't really a big deal, just wanted to know your opinions.

I can get my armrest wrapped in the same stuff my shift boot and ebrake boots are made of for virtually nothing. But do you think it would be too much?

Thanks,
-Cyrus

I think like a stripe or something that can make a small highlight of ruby on the armrest would look good. Maybe just like ruby stitching. But the whole thing in that color is WAY to much!

I see what you're saying but I don't think they can do two-tone. Ruby is a dark color though... and after seeing the armrest on Jeff's (redmaxpa007 a.k.a. Pinky a.k.a. pinkmaxpms666) I have to admit I am a bit jealous.

Can you hook me up with a black shift boot?

I vote no on the armrest.

I'll see what they can do... but you're going to have a hard time keeping the top end, you'll need some twist ties or something. Anyways I'll PM you when I hear back from them.

I think it would be a little over the top, but if you want to, go for it. The shift boot and e brake boots look pretty cool.

I say if you decide to do the armrest, do more of the interior ruby too. Just having those three pieces might look imbalanced on some points of views, esp. since there is a great contrast in black and the vinyl ruby pearl color. Just my 2 cents

I agree..the stripe down the middle would offer the eyes a startling and more obvious contrast

it would also be super sexy

I say no...the armrest just seems like the last thing you'd want to touch up like that.

hehe, I can never look at those boots without thinking "panties"

Thanks.

And Jeff do you think I should go for it with my stock interior (other than boots)? If you say yes, I will send it away this weekend.

Okay it will be shipped this Saturday. Maybe I'll order some Paintscratch.com paint too and paint the speaker covers.

hmm, i think it would look a little tacky unless u you do paint other things like the other guys here said, but for me personally i always like to try/new things. Try it if u want, you can always get a new armrest or repaint it
