12 sec 1/4 mile? I don't think that guy with a SC and N20 is doing a 12 sec 1/4 mile. I'll spout more later.

Take your car in with NOS on it and get back to me on the warranty issue, are you crazy. Only if you remove all the hardware and no detection of the install is found. NOS does void warranty!!!!!

No Flaming, just stating the facts!!!

i think this has been said time and time again

only way a failure can be denied for mods is if they can prove that the mod is reason it failed.

my friend with c5 with nos on it went to chevy, they could care less it had nos on it. they covered his repairs under warranty, no voiding going on there. but if engine fails and has burned pistons and has nos well of course going to be denied.

i think you have some up to do also along with that other guy.

thanks

I agree if the claims are non-NOS related, such as paint and such then the NOS is a non-factor. I would ask you to call Nissan and see if NOS doesn't void warranty. And yes I have talked with my service writer, who does know alittle more about warranty than you and me. He did confirm that NOS does void the warranty. So, as I said before take your car into Nissan and you will get laughed at.

well from what i have seen most service writers dont know to much at all. i talk to them everyday and most dont know what the warranties are on the vehicle. so i would not trust what they say ever!!!!

and also i have worked for warranty companies since 98, so i would say i would know just a little about it.

and no flaming, just stating the CORRECT facts.

thanks again

What is 284hp + 20%?
What is 302tq + 20%?
That is how you calculate your HP @ the engine (flywheel).

Why in the hel! whould you put a 6 spd shifter on a 5 spd?

Because it looks/feels better than a cheezy rubber one, and I got it dirt cheap from an org member.

75 bucks for Denso plugs? I paid 36 bucks for them according to Summit racing all of those gauges are like twice the selling price for new ones.

Please provide a link/ph # to where you got Denso Iridium plugs for $6/ea, I'd LOVE to know & I'm sure everyone else would too!

It says
over 8 grand in mods? but lists 7k in mods

As I clearly stated, NOT ALL MODS WERE LISTED!

Lists his GXE as FULLY LOADED

Is this not possible?!

Lists as being under FACTORY WARRANTY... Well he thinks this till he hooked N20 up to it, now his engine is no longer under warranty.

Ummm, within the past 6 months I've had a multitude of warranty services performed, Nissan cannot deny warranty service w/o proving the NOS was the cause of the malfunction...sorry.

And its posted that a NISSAN performance tech? Who the hell is that?

His name is Pete from Asbury NJ, he worked for Nissan for many years and now owns a performance shop specializing in Nissan's, would you like his phone number?!

lists the car to have 28mpg on the freeway? HA HA HA

was done on a long road trip, according to my calculations, can't be too far off.

12 sec 1/4 mile?

Yes sir, I run consistent low 13's at Englishtown and ran two high 12's at Atco a couple weeks ago.
Those who know me, know what my car is capable of, and know I am an excellent driver.
You see newbie under my name and think I know nothing.
So lame....

Have a nice day.

Yup, Honda does the same thing...I think the rule is if the repairs being made can be linked in any way to the aftermarket modifications(ie- Nitrous), then the warranty is voided, if not the warranty stands. I know this for a 100% fact when I went with my boy to HOnda for his power steering pump to be replaced(under warranty) on his 2k2 Civic...the techs and service manager were all checking out his NX setup and they replaced the pump UNDER WARRANTY, no fuss over the nitrous at all!!! so I guess unless its fuel, ignition or internal motor related, then basically there will probably be no grounds to void.

That's a good deal for a car with all of those mods. If it doesn't sell, would you consider parting out? If so, I'd be interested in the NO2.....

Oh my...
Lets not get into envy, If I could afford an I30t 5 spd, 5 years ago--what makes you think I couldn't afford a chessed out Maxima? Nearly as nice? Its nearly nice.

Just because you've hit in the 12's doesn't mean you have a 12 second car. Well to you it might, so that one will pass.

I didn't know your status on the .org, so if you are a newbie or not is up yours. When your customer takes his newly bought hooptie to the dealer because it smokes like diesel, you think they aren't going to tell him its because of the N20? What about the slipping clutch? I think we ALL knew that the dealer has to prove that the mod damaged the part. So thanks for passing on your day old widom.
