Yes, the station is in the US-1 group and called "The Trend"

Did you have them mount it on your hood?

It works fine on the back deck lid inside the car. Don't let them try to tell you it doesn't!

Nono, NOT US-1...that station sucks. But just after that, called "The Trend" Mostly good soft-rock like you said you were looking for.

IanS, it will WORK insided the back deck of your car, but not in ALL places. I work for Kenwood, and we just went to a training at Sirius headquarters in NYC, and they showed us the the technical reasons. Basically, because of the angle that the satellites are orbiting, they aren't always directly overhead, therefore at certain locations you won't receive the strongest possible signal, therefore a loss of sound quality, or sound all together.

I drove across WA State a couple of weeks ago. As many of you know, Eastern WA State has many large, barren expanses of desert and no towns, cell towers, or cities.

I didn't cut out once, or lose any quality whatsoever.

The only time I cut out is the 1/2 mile long I-90 tunnel and once or twice going under underpasses. (Oh, and down on the 3rd floor of my underground parking garage)

Sorry, it's not that I don't believe you, but I very rarely leave Seattle anyway, and it works perfectly, even when I did leave.

(I am aware that when in Seattle, I am going off a repeater, and not a sattelite)

I guess what I'm saying is: I works for me.

besides, if it had problems, I could always move it.

The antenna is pretty ugly, It would look alot better and sleeker if they shaved off some of the edges, and made it look like a "molded egg" or somethign rather than a block on top of my car. Sorry i have no pics of it yet> none of even my car. But im goign to check out that station tomorrw, "the trend" thanks guys, i love this place haha..Also, anyoen in western Mass, Long radio did a GREAT instalatoin of my sound systen. I will recommend them to anyone, They worked on all the members of the band "Staind" Also

I do my own installs, and they look great also.

The only reason I let them do this one was because it was free.

I re-did it myself.
