important info on wheel locks: please read

after a day trying to find my wheel lock, and paying a shop 30 pessos for 2 seconds of thier time/ ****ed the shieet out of me.......i found a perfect and cheap way to open any, i mean any wheel lock.

go to autozone and buy a socket called the alligator socket. it forges into the shape of any lug with small grooves inside the socket. it cost 5 bucks and you can use it for any other lug size you want too!
btw/ if you feel like going wheel shopping at 4 in the morning/ it works great! j/k.....i hope i didn't give anybody any ideas...

just thought you might want it in the back of your heads so if one day it happens to you/ you know what to do.

Yep...that's how they do it. Good thing we don't drive civics. Good luck trying to fit 18X8.5 with 245/40/ZR18 on their Civic.

gimme a break i could break those pins out with a pencil if i wanted too. That aligator socket is a POS. Id love to see anyone here get locks off using that, especially after being torqued on there.

I think the pins would be hard to grip onna circle wheel lock...

yeah keep in mind..the circular wheel locks have a pattern cut into them...(mcgard).

now if the pins are strong enough then when u push down the pins will go into the groove and turn the lock.

you can also buy a socket that is made to remove wheel locks too.

Oh I see, thas the alligator socket they sell on tv. I could possibly see that working if pins would fit good enough in the key hole. Now what about this wheel lock removal socket? I asked ppl about something like this, but I just got blank faces. I just bought an 18mm 12 point deep socket. I was told I could hammer in on the lock, the grooves would catch the side of the lock, and turn to remove the locks. But this seems to be a better idea. Thanks
