The hole seems to be where a Stillen intake would be. I don't know. I would be more afrid of the filter getting wet more than sucking in a little more cool air.

is that carbon fiber? doesn't look like it, maybe a sharper pic can show us how to appreciate it. as for the holes maybe its to help with the air induction, anyways...maybe it just gives the car an extra 10hp haha j/k if its carbon fiber,it looks ok except those "speed holes?" i doubt the filters or the engine would get wet, there is probobly something to catch debri and rain just under the hood unless this is strictly a show hood

Hood is not carbon fiber and is not just stripped. It looks like it's been primered and ready for paint. If it was just stripped, it would start rusting after only one hour. The holes seem to be right where a na cone filter would be and where sc'ed maxima intake would be.
