Steering wheel - Wood trim options?
Anyone have any experience or information on options for a "wood/leather" wrapped steering wheel for a 98 GLE without diabling the SRS airbag function? How about those fake wood steering wheel covers, any good?

Talk to Sycefiro, he has a nice leather wood steering wheel. I wish they made a leather carbon fiber.

nissan makes a half wood steering wheel for 4th gens. but its all in japan. i seen it on a max out here. i couldnt tell you the first thing about getting a hold of one here.

Nis-Knacks.com sells them, they are purdy! Just look under the I30 A32 and ull c what im talking bout. They are really expensive just for the wheel tho.

Infiniti has "wood/leather" wrapped steering wheel for 99 I30 Limited.
You can check with your local infiniti dealer.

OMG! I just looked up the Nissan/Infiniti wood trim steering wheel (A32) and this thing is gorgeous! But $410.00 is a lot for a steering wheel. How hard is installation with the airbag? Would Nissan even replace a stock steering wheel with a replacement?

does any one know if this company is still in buisness. i have sent them a letter regarding this steering wheel. Richard Crabbe himself signed for the letter, i sent it certified so i would know when some one received the letter. i had asked if the wheel where in stock and no has replyed since. it has been 3 weeks now and nothing. i know it says on the web site they are in stock but before i send out a money order i want to know if they have the wheel first.

i might see rich this weekend. if i do ill post up and let you know what he says about the steering wheels.
