Need help with leather seats!

I just used the Lexol conditioner on my black interior (2k2). I didn't use the cleaner because my cars pretty new and it's clean. I now notice that I have streaks kinda like when you clean your windows and get window streaks. How do I correct this and what did I do wrong to cause this? Did I use too much?

How did you apply the Lexol?

Re: Need help with leather seats!

I use both Lexol products on light and dark colored leather w/o problem. A little goes a long way; my first guess is you used too much (I spray small amount on clean cloth and rub into the seat), or you had an unusual reaction with something on the seats - that's why it's a good idea to use the cleaner first on new seats.

I would try going over the affected areas with the cleaner over a couple of days - or try contacting Lexol for suggestions.

Good Luck

I probably used too much. I sprayed it into a brand new white cloth round applicator for polish. I rubbed it extremely hard today and it looks a tad better, but I'm afraid to keep rubbing it this hard.

I'd avoid getting carried away w/brisk rubbing. My guess is it will probably gradually fade over several weeks. As I mentioned before, using the cleaner might also help reduce the streaks. Lexol's web site customer service might have suggestions too.

I over use my lexol all the time..but my leather is 5 years old.

Just apply the cleaner to it, let it dry.

Then apply the conditioner to it and let it dry. Use a soft rag to buff it
