Man, somedays I just want to spend the day on my max...whether it is washing and waxing or tune-ups or just plain trying to find new ideas to make my car look/go faster.....but noooooo, according to her, it's just a car and everytime I pick the maxima over her, she takes it so personally!

Am I the only one? All I want to do is take care of her....my car that is.

Funny I don't feel that way at all about my Max. I wish I could afford to have those people come and "detail" the car. But inevitably I end up washing/waxing myself.

I do feel that way about the house though. I could spend hours on the lawn, furnishings and plans to finish the basement.

Lucky a woman helped me to pick out some stuff or it would have been a total bachelor's pad....

i have no problem with my girl and my car at all. I just spend time with them equally, like last night after i got off work i went to see her, and i just did her right there in my backseat. I got to clean the back seat with some stain remover now.

Actually, I broke up with my g/f of a year 1/2, because she gave me the 'Ultimatum': "either pay more attention to me, or I'll find someone that will." I slipped and said "This car's got 3 years left of payments, it's gotta look good, you're not guarenteed to be around!"

It was other things that ended it, but that was an issue!

 

My ex-gf was never jealous of my Maxima ... because I rather spend more time with a real person than a hunk of metal ... but you know, that's just me.

1. get a boy friend and replace your gf. (dave's answer)
2. get many gf so that you can replace easy/ just like rims, once you get bored/ replace or pass them to the next person who is willing to settle with used parts.
3. be a man and tell that bitsch to stfu/ smacking or even lifting your hands up works.
4. if all else fails, i guess diamonds will have to do. i done that b4 and it seem to work.

same thing here. she tells me she wants her altima faster and nicer looking, so i offer to mod it, and she says i dont know if i want that done to my car. so next month she is buying a jetta 1.8T that she wants me to help her do stuff to, small world huh. i bet when she gets the jetta, ill bring up springs, bodykit, intake, exhaust, chip, and she will say " i dont know how about we just make the inside look cute"
