If I had a 4th gen I get a sc anyway, but alas I have a slow 3rd gen

in some way i see what your saying but its much harder to fit all that crap in to a 4th gen engine bay with the engine mount/sub frame right in the way of the front bank. See my point yet. Its not really an argument just my opinon.

Don't worry.. VE 5 spd turbos aren't far away.. there was one a year ago.. he got scared because the worn out turbo was smoking and sold his car.

There are several others who took his design and made it better.. we're just waiting on someone who can bend pipe sharp enough to fit the turbo outlet and around the crossmember right now... that's the only thing keeping several of us back.

I have kind of layed back on the 3rd vs 4th, I am just going to wait and let them see for themselves. thezcarguy and several other SoCal guys have seen the wrath of VE autos only, VE autos that give them a run in their 5 speed VQ's. Wait until I fix this injector and clutch on the BONE STOCK 5 speed, they are going to have another thing coming.

Use a couple of joints(90, 45, etc) and cut/weld them to your liking. Voila.

I am picky though... only '94 Black/Black SE 5spd with every option, low miles, and very clean interior will do for me. Until I can find a one (assuming I ever do) my 4G will do.

MORE PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gotta represent for Scott of Hi-Flow Custom Exhaust in Falls Church, VA...the man can bend pipes like no other!!

the rest of these pics basically show the finishing touches before Jahili sends them in to heat coated and prettied up. the custom crossver was put in place, the compressor side of the turbo was rotated inorder to accomodate the charge piping, then Scott bent and installed the downpipie in little under 30 minutes, totally custom bent with a flex section...looks sick!!! next measurements were made for the turbo to intake piping, after we got all that straight it was welded up and we made a mock setup of how its gonna look...only thing missing is another silicone connector for the MAF and a MAF adapter to put the cone filter on! basically today I got pics of the underbody and the downpipe and intake piping...Jahlil tells me estimated time of completion as far as mechanical **** goes, NEXT WEEK!!!!!! so far everything is going great...enjoy the pics, MUCH, MUCH more to come!

MORE PICS HERE----->>

Somehow I knew you'd be all over this thread boasting about how great the 3rd gen is and how much people underestimate it, hate on it etc..

there are just more 4th and 5th gen owners on this board. What do you want?

Less people have interest in it because less people drive them. Calm down.. No one is underestimating and forgetting about them.

People here have been talking about putting turbos in their 3rd gens since before i even bought my 3rd gen like 3 years ago.
Most of it is all talk
Until I am proven wrong, i will stand by my statement

About the car...
That is a nice setup

Just wanted to chime in and say its not quite so... I would have kept it but I got a different car which provided more in the looks dept. If I knew where I was today, I would have kept it just the way it was, and prob even finished the turbo. AS it is, I am probably selling my Z for what I paid for it tomorrow to a guy in Utah, and wishing that my best friend would sell me my max back.
