Trying to get parts for my 2K from Nissan... Need help

All,
My wife recently wrecked my 2K SE. $6500 damage to the front end. She and my baby daughter are perfectly fine, thank God.
However, car needed help. It's been at the dealer's shop for 3 weeks. For the past several days, the car has been finished, except one thing. It's waiting on one part from Nissan, which is on "national backorder".
The part that's missing is the engine wiring harness. Actually, I only need three connectors from the wiring harness. The way I understand it is that all the wiring under the hood is one part - a big spaghetti of wires all the correct length with little special plugs on the ends. Three of those connectors are cracked. The dealer says Nissan has approved simply splicing new ends onto the existing wiring harness to avoid the hours involved in completely re-wiring the car.
Does anyone have any advice on how I can get this part? Any words of wisdom for dealing with Nissan Corp? How about any places to look to find this part someplace else? Any ideas for substitutes to this part? Was this part the same on previous model Maximas?
Any help would be appreciated.

go to http://www.copartfinder.com and search for 2000 maximas. Try not to be sickened by all the wrecked maximas you see... You will find address and contact numbers and sometimes emails for the junk yard owners of those cars. They usualy part them out and you should be able to find the parts you need..
