The dye in crayons is pretty strong, as it is in most waxes. Most likely the carpet is stained permanently. If you have no luck with regular auto carpet cleaners, you can try a heat-transfer method. Heres what you do:

1. Take a slightly damp rag and place it over the stain with the rag laying flat.

2. Take an iron put it on the lowest setting. Put the iron on the rag directly over the stain.

3. Push with moderate force for 10 seconds at a time.

4. Lift up the rag and if the stain is being absorbed into the rag it is working!

5. Good luck!

I heard the same thing but only I heard using a piece of brown paper like a brown paper bag. That was mainly for getting the wax up. The brown paper will absorb the wax. When you get done, you'll basically have a piece of wax paper! Good Luck Man!

if the stain doesnt come out. instead of buying a new deck you can buy a sheet of vinyl from any upholstery shop (I paid $20 for sq. yard) and re-wrap the whole deck. looks better than the fuzzy cloth if you ask me
