Which year Maxima SE had 220hp

Me and my friend both have the '95 SE. I think they had 190hp stock. He just sent me an email asking which year had 220hp stock? Anyone know? I know the '02 has 255hp.

Except for the AE which magically has 227 hp

i have a friend with a 98 GXE that claimed he had 220...till i brought in a cars.com report.

i have a better friend...he has a 91 and thought he had like 210-220 hp

yup 00-01 has 222 hp , and AE has 227

they had slightly different exhaust and muffler...

Did anyone ever dyno the AE and the 222-hp Maxima (both stock) seperately? If so..was there a difference?

good question but to my knowledge no one actual went through the trouble. most of the time people dyno they already altered something which will end up changing everthing. ill check the 5th gen fourms and dyno threads later.
