2002 Stillen front lip pics (un-painted but installed)
Today my Stillen front lip arrived from www.avalonracing.net . I was told it was going to be the "aero" lip but it turned out to be the less liked touring lip..
Well it's here and it does look pretty decent IMO. I would have really liked to see a aero lip made but ohh well.. Guess you can't win em all.
Heres the pics of it up-painted. Anyone good at photoshop willing to paint it? I would appreciate it.

You know guys I ordered a aero lip not a touring lip.. And well this touring lip is really not doing it for me. I know in a few weeks the rest of you guys will get the real deal and I will be stuck here feeling like a moron with my ugly touring lip. Looks like I am gonna have to contact avalon and return this.. I am sure avalon will take good care of this matter.

I think the problem is that the 2002 front bumper comes down lower than the 2k, so it throws the lines of the body off. That spoiler looked great on the 2k but on the 2k2 looks a bit too bulky and awkward. I'm sure there's a way to fill it, perhaps rivet sheet metal into the spaces and paint over it or something. Nothing is impossible, and i'm sure a competent body shop wouldn't charge too much either. Hopefully though, they will come through with their promise and put out a aero lip.
If not, I can live with it

Just talked to stillen and it looks like they have no plans to get a aero front lip made anytime soon for the 2002. So I decided this lip is definatly better then no lip. If in time a aero lip comes out maybe I will get it then.
BTW you probably think the lip looks bulky because it not painted, hehe. I think the lip is identical to the 2000 one minus the center cutout.
