Window Tinting

Window Tinting
I have an '02 Super Black Maxima and am considering tinting the windows. The tint shop tell me the upper area the rear window may appears slightly whitish from the outside 'cause of that preferated factory shading that is already there. They are also not sure if the automatic rear mirror will work since the back window will already be reflecting the glare. Can anyone advise on their experience with tinting an '02 Max?
Thanks,
Bob

I don't have an 02, but I do know what that whitish part is. The perforated dot matrix design is purely for aesthetics. It becomes a PITA though for tinters because the tint has trouble adhering to glass, since the dots are a raised surface. Just tell them to take their time and there shouldn't be too much white showing. BTW, the white = small air pockets.
