Story: was backing up at night, couldn't see a DAMN thing because well the reverse lights were useless... got 1 estimate, $750.

Nah, insurance deductable is $500... plus insurance rate will go up I am sure.
I hit a truck. An old beat up truck... actually I swipped the rear bumper of the truck. Truck has no damage though. night + tint + very dim reverse light = $750.
