i was trying to fix a gasket behind my cat and the right bolt snapped in a half. There's jack **** u can do about that the way it's between the flange =( So I drove around all weekend sounding like I put mothballs and other random objects in my fuel tank. I scared off lots of hot chicks 2.... dammit.

Remember the basic propane torch is your friend. Muscle and those liquid crap do not work. Not even a 300lb/ft impact wrench did the job. However, just a litte heat to warm up those *&%#%@ rusty nuts. Game over.

BZZZZZT! Wrong answer (partially). PB Blaster works magic on all the
bolts I've used it on. I couldn't get them to budge, even with the
impact wrench. I sprayed the bolts, let it sit overnight (about 6
hours actually), came out the next morning and the bolts all came
right out. Kroil is supposed to be just as good, if not better, but
I don't have personal experience with it.

You're crazy to try this job without one of the two above lubricants.
WD-40 is NOT the same thing and falls into the "liquid crap" category
when you're talking about loosening rusty/frozen bolts.

Cheers,

JK
