Hey my friend works in an auto parts store, and he gave me a k&n filter(the ones you drop in into the airbox)anyways i just installed it, and i noticed a slight difference in sound. Are there any power gains to it?

 

you will/should notice better throttle response but i remember someone (cant remember who) said the drop-in was only good for about 4 or 5hp to the crank. so after it hits the road it isnt much but its the last filter you have to buy. just make sure when and if you do clean it that you go easy on the oil. im cleaning the filter from my berk right now and im taking every precaution to keep from putting too much oil on it.
