Noob just sayin' Howdy

Hey all,

First post for me, just wanted to say hey. Got my 97 SE 5-speed a coupla months back, and aside from the Intake and FSTB, all I've put into her is gas--lots and lots of gas.

Anyhow, by way of sayin thanks for clicking on this thread, here's my lil' gift to the org: Maxima desktops!

version 1:

800x600 | 1024x768 | 1280x1024

version 2:

800x600 | 1024x768 | 1280x1024 | 1600x1200

disclaimer: all the Maximas in these desktops are swiped from various posts here on the org. Hope nobody gets ****ed...

Nice work!

...but the first one has a couple of technical problems:

The 3rd gen engines were the VG30E and the VE30DE

The 5th gen engines are the VQ30DE-K and the VQ35DE

Just FYI...

Thanks for all the kind words fellas! It's nice to be made welcome

'Course it's a tough crowd with some of y'all... Glad you spotted the 3rd Gen's, Vyrus. So many maxi's, so little screen space

In the interests of technical accuracy, I updated the first version with the *correct* engine names (thanks Ben)

That was just a natural reaction brought on by years and years of people forgetting 3rd gens in wallpaper and ads
