multiple outlets for a cigarette lighter

I have three things I would like to power with my cigarette lighter and am going to purchase a multiple outlet adapter for it (3 outputs). I have a bearcat scanner, a radar detector, and a portable MP3 player. I was just wondering if I would run into any problems running all of these at once.
Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.

yea..shouldnt have any probs considering it's small stuff you're running. Radioshack has a 3-outlet one: that's the one i use, and i run my cell, power inverter to laptop and my gf's cell once in a while.

The amount of power that each thing you're plugging in doesn't require the whole output of the cig. So you can use quite a few splitters... just don't go overboard.

why not hardwire the scanner and radar detector instead?? that way you won't have so many cables getting in the way.

and plug in the player to the outlet which makes it easier to unplug and take in the house or lock in the glove compartment
