First it was the gum, Now I get **** thrown at..
Earlier last week I left the car out for an hour in my residential parking lot and someone stuck a gum on side of my car (by the fuel door). That got me a bit pi$$ed but I wasn't sweating it (could of been worse than a gum).
Last weekend I went cruising with a girlfriend of mine in Hoboken/Newport Mall area of NJ. As I pulled into the BJ/Pep Boys Plaza by Newport Mall, some juvenile kids standing on the curbside threw some dried berries and dirt into the passenger side of my car as I passed by
. My girlfriend was pi$$ed off as hell, I turned the music off and she stuck her head out and cussed off at them. I asked her to sit back down, I was steamed and in disbelief. Pulled over for a brief minute, looked at the car (my baby was fine), removed the top off a cup of iced coffee I had been drinking. As I pulled back out to the same street where they were, I see the same kid who threw the crap at my girlfriend taking a few steps onto the street (he thought he'd harass us one more time). I stepped on the gas WOT and took my car straight at him. He quickly realized that I was taking my car at him and not by him. The look on his face was 'holy ****- she's going to run us down'. I used my BB to avoid damaging my car with those worthless bastards as they hurried back onto the curbside, threw the cup of coffee right at them and took off. In all my anger, I'm glad that's all I had in my car and not something like beer bottles etc.
Was it because I had Biggie all turned up in my car and it's two Asian girls in the car? I sincerely hope that isn't the case.
I'm just really disappointed at the way kids are raised nowadays, they have godda*m respect for anyone and their property.

When I still had my Altima, some kid threw an acorn or some other tree nut at my car in my neighborhood one time. I slammed on my brakes and threw the car in reverse. The look on the kid's face was priceless! He must have been peeing his pants as he ran off, not expecting me to stop and then go back! 
No damage, but his brother that was there told on him to their dad who came out! I wonder how long that kid waited until he got the nerve to show up back home?

Gezz AnGe, I feel for ya girl. I had my valve caps stolen 3X in front of my house. Eric's car got egged 2 weeks ago. I mean WTF do these kids think? Wait till they own a nice car, I hope the same thing happens to them.

Something similar happened to my friend....it was holloween and some kids threw EGGS at him while he was driving.... It ended up in the backseat as he was goin pretty fast....(those kids have GOOD aim, as the window was open just enough for the egg to fit threw!) The poor max with cloth seats had an raw egg scent that lasted for weeks....

I know exactly where you were. I used to go shopping at BJ's and A&P during the summertime.
That is a really bad area to go through even though Newport Mall is right there. It sucks that the 16 year old tough guys feel the need to mess with you. However sometimes you just need to turn the other cheek and drive away.

Kids have been a-holes since there's been kids. I'm sure you'll find more/less in certain areas of a city, etc, but in general...I don't think in modern times, it's horribly worse. Kids and people have always been jerks for the most part I think Corporate capitalism and both parents having 8-5s doesn't help, but...
But it always sucks when it happens to you, though I think Angie dealt with it pretty well.
I mean, I can remember being scandalous as a kid at times. And my parents tried hard to push respectful values on me....that darned human nature to challenge authority...must be in my genes

I know WTF is up with young kids/teenagers these days?!
I'm glad you did something and not just let it be. I'm glad that I have my breaker bar in the car with me just in case.
I'm wondering would they have done the same thing if a guy was driving or a guy was accompanying you? I bet if someone like Deezo was with you, they would be in deep ****!

I live near that neighborhood. It's gotten alot better but of course you still have your idiots running around. The Newport Mall parking lot used to be notorious for car jacking, car theft.
Last year I had an egg thrown at my car. It wasnt even mischief night (Oct 30). I busted a quick u-turn then got out and gave chase, I lost them when they got into their building. Now that I think about it I'm glad I did lose them because they were in a group of 4 and I was alone. We're so protective of our cars, we sometimes let our rage overcome our senses.
I would have done the same as you but be careful next time Ange, it's crazy out there...
