I have the Rspeed (miata) ****, it's pretty nice, but the trim piece doesn't stay on very well once you tighten it down...

Check out the Spec V sentra shift ****, it's very comfortable. However, it has a 6spd pattern on top, I don't know if that will bother you. The feel is worth the 6spd pattern to me.

Hey Erik,

As you are a big fan of racing.... I would highly recommend old school racing style. Momo COMPETIZIONE, as the name implies. Forget sissy anatomic and big old cue ball (unless it sticks out from an aluminum shift gate!)

Hey bud!

I've gotten quite a few people PMing me about the e-brake handle. I'll have to throw up some info on my cardomain site to provide some details.

The **** is a Momo Race Air Leather. I cost a quite few bucks but I love the way it fits in my palm.

The handle was bought in a local shop here in Toronto. I can't remember the manufacturer (not some big brand name). I think it was sold under the name "Alpena". The handle is stainless steel with matt black accent. It also came with a leather boot. To make it fit around the e-brake assembly (under the boot), I had to use the stock boot as well & do some trimming to the new boot. PM me if you want more description. (It's too lengthy to post here.) I think I had seen it in a local Walmart as well.

mad dhan made it for me, I'm very happy with it, although I may get something different just so i can change the **** every now and then. I also cut my stock shifter a couple of inches...I think it gives it a better feel.

i bought a $70 all aluminum (ball type)MOMO shift **** a few months ago. it was one the the best investments i've made for this car. i had a cheap a$$ Pep Boys fake CF... one of my worst investments. but the momo is awesome. fits my hand so well... makes quick shift much, much easier. only bad thing is it gets kinda hot sitting in the sun all day.
