Well, took my 14 qts of Redline D4 ATF to JiffyLube and paid $70 for them to flush my transmission with their T-Tech machine.

I can't say that my automatic shifts super smooth now, but it does shift a bit smoother than before. It's not even close to Toyota smooth, though.

I found that the ATF fluid level will seem very full for the first 20 miles or so, until all the fluid can find its way back into all the nooks and crevices in the transmission. I was about to take the car back to JiffyLube for them to drain some fluid, but I checked later on this morning and it was at the perfect level (gotta check it with the engine running, or else the trans fluid pump won't be on).

Overall, I am satisfied with the flush, but I would definitely not do it unless I was switching from normal ATF to synthetic ATF completely (like I was).

Tranny's capcity is 10 qts-->

But the machine can take 14 qts, so it's up to you. With 10 you might not got every single drop of the old fluid out, but redline is pretty expensive to waste =)
