Why does it have a crossbar on the grille?

Like a GLE/GXE? I thought SE-Ls had the same "open" grille as SEs.
Also, it's probably the resolution, but I can't make out an SE-L badge.

Sounds way too pricey. They sell here for about 19K or so with those options...so he is 5K too high!

You can get a brand new 2k similarly equipped for 2 grand less or a brand new 2001 similarly equipped for < 1 grand more. The red is nice though.

All of the 4th gen Maxima's have the crossbar you are talking about. The grill is exactly the same as the regular SE grill like mine. I would also feel weird buying from a dealer named ****smith.

Just to make sure that we're talking about the same thing.
There is a red crossbar going through the silver Nissan logo on the front of the car, between the headlights. I've had 2 96 SEs (I'm driving #2 now) and a 99 SE-L. Maybe I forgot it on the SE-L, and it's inherent to 97-99 SEs. Am I missing something?
