Listen at these Poor guys over at the Z forum
These guys are claiming that they will whip up on 02/03's Maximas with 90-96 Z's most stock. They also say oh I beat 95-01's as well and what funny stock for stock the 95-01's put down better times than 90-96 N/A z's go figure.

i wouldnt consider a N/A Z a sports car... more like a iron sled on wheels

One of the guys posted how he beat his friends '00 5 speed max at the strip everytime and posted the slips. His friend had a 60' of almost 2.5 sec! If he knew how to launch the thing, he would have beat him.
My co-worker had an '93 Z (auto) and I used to STOMP him.

Ask us, and we'll tell you how the Maxima SE will whip the Nissan 300ZX, Integra GS-R and Taurus SHO in 0-60 mph and quarter-mile acceleration-and how it challenges or, in some cases, exceeds their handling marks, too."
"Our tester, a five-speed SE version of this fourth generation of Maxima, produced a blazing 6.6-second 0-60-mph time, a 15.2-second, 92.4-mph quarter-mile run, 0.83g skidpad cornering power and a 65.1-mph slalom run. That tops the Taurus SHO five-speed in every category. The new Maxima shows no mercy on its Nissan stablemates: It'll stomp the normally aspirated 300ZX, and drivers of automatic-transmissioned 300ZX Turbos best not be snoozing when the light goes green."

I have run a 300ZX non turbo before any of my mods and I took it each time. He was 5spd and I am auto. He used to come into my old job and hassle me until we raced then I could not get him to come out anymore.

i think id rather boost something with an iron block and just switch out the pistons and rods no replacement for displacement, how many sr20dets in 240s do u see pushing over 440hp, not many, how many KAs do u see, well only a few but u get the point!
