I am not the smartest person in the world when it comes to maximas. So here is the deal I was talking to this guy at a local motor sports store and he said that a tranny from a sentra would fit on a maxima. I told him he was a liar. Please respond any one with info adn also if you've heard of this. Thanks

auto or 5spd? I don't think an auto would because there are a variety of different auto tranny's for a maxima(4th gen). My tranny went out in my car and the guy that was fixing it bought 4 different tranny's before we found one to fit. Certain ports are bigger, and on the other tranny it might be a little smaller. but I can't really answer your question
