Y-pipe/ ECU question

Hell yeah.....i finally got confirmation from Warpspeed this morning that my TIG SS y-pipe should be getting here tomorrow. I have been waiting for it since Sept. 10.
anyways......the question is.....when i put the y-pipe on, do i have to reset or do anything to the ECU? Will resetting the ECU cause it to better regualate the new, higher flow of air? I know, I know...use the search button. But i figured a quick answer from you guys is better. Later

No. Some people believe you do, but I disagree with that theory. I have never reset my ECU after any of my mods.

resetting ecu?

if you dont reset your ecu, after driving for a little while(depending on the mod)the ecu will eventually "learn" the mod and adjust accordingly. if you do reset after the mod the ecu will "learn" much quicker and adjust much faster.

Yep, if you reset your ECU, it will learn to change the preset WOT map.

or maybe closed loop has a meaning??
