custom plastic vavle cover

custom plastic vavle cover

what do u think i should do with my plastic vavle cover, like put a sticker, nothing leave it, and any new ideas)... here are some pics as to what i did

this has bad light but u can see the NISSAN



this is the actual color but u cant read NISSAN with the flash



any ideas?

Looks odd..not bad just different..maybe put MAXIMA under nissan or something

for starters paint your steering, coolant, brake caps white, as well as the radiator supports, oil stick top, tranny fluid top, and do a bunch of nuts that you can see..

just the white valve cover will look ghey, trust me, I had it.

And something different you could to is take another color like black, red, blue light or dark shades of those colors (pick one color only) and only spray the right, left, top, or bottom edge.. give it a fade effect.. something different, and then sand off the paint on the "NISSAN" and fade the color on the other pieces too..

just my $0.02 for whatever it's worth.

ok thanx guys good ideas.. just wondering if u guy picked up that i filled in the 3000 Vq part?...

sadler.. i was gonna do that soon anyway i dont like the blue and white theme, i just got my polishing kit and maybe tomorrow im gonna polish my actual valve cover.. my question is when i swap it out to polish do i need to replace any gaskets when i put it back on?...


bags... i was thinking about that also i dunno though im puzzled!

yeah I saw that.. I was trying to think how to get "MAXIMA" ingraved into the valve cover.. or mabye powder coat it on the valve cover in a different color as jason said

Im am also in the process of shaving my cover. What kind of filler did you use? I am planning to shave everything including the nissan lettering and I think I am going to be painting mine silver. I want everything shaved off so that it will match my VI cover.

I would just fill it in with plastic filler and then paint it what ever color i wanna go with and then stick my MAXIMA eblem that i took out from the trunk on.
