Which tires should I get?

Its almost time for new tires. I have 18x7.5" wheels and currently have 235/40/18 Pirelli P7000 SS and they are great for normal driving (I don't race or go to the track). But I think I am dropping to 225/40/18 for better price, selection and fit. I have chosen a few tires from www.tirerack.com and listed them below. I am leaning towards the Michelin Pilot Sports. Which ones would you get and why?

Thanks.
  • Bridgestone Potenza S-03 / $171
  • Dunlop SP Sport 9090 / $204
  • Dunlop SP Sport 9000 / $168 (special price)
  • Michelin Pilot Sport / $188 (special price)
  • Bridgestone Potenza S-02 / $175
  • Bridgestone Potenza RE730 Gen2 / $188
  • Pirelli P7000SS / $145
  • Bridgestone Potenza S-02A / $172

None of those....

I HIGHLY recommend the Toyo Proxes T1-S. They are a supurb tire. I just got mine last week and all I can say is WOW. They are a 100% better tire than the Pirelli P7000 that I had (which you are looking into getting). Ask Micah95GLE and Bags, they also LOVE them with a passion. I will post a pic of the tread and all that good stuff when I get back to the house.

I got mine local.. kauffman tire.. $210 per tire 235/40 18 with road hazard and lifetime balance and rotation

www.treaddepot.com down near the airport has them at like $190 a tire.. but you have to take JUST the rims there... they don't have a place to jack your car up, so if you take the rims they can mount the tires

im a tried and true fan of pirellis. but not the 225s. the 235s are excellent for my kind of driving. erik drives like me and he suggest the proxes so check them out.

i also like yoks avs sports.

pirellis, avs and toyo t1-s.

I got mine locally. they came in at $148.00 per tire and $40.00 for mounting and balance (about $670.00 out the door). Although the tire supplier first shipped my the Toyo Proxes FZ4, I had to wait two more days for my T1-Ss. If you need my guy's number, I can hook you up.

I agree. I've had the sumitomo's for a couple of months now and love the feel.
