Server for videos
I am offering my source up to the Maxima family.
Here ya go:
128.242.197.146 (use FTP client)

This is actually for anyone that wants to post vids and pics. I check it often. If I find **** or abuse I have logs and I can find who loaded it and I will ban your IP. If you do it again, I will ban your class C. Enjoy fellas.

I have over 50 Gig/month of bandwitdth. It should be ample. This is on an actual Dedicated Server, not a shared plan, not a virtual machine. This is a free solution for me and could one day be gone, but I do not anticipate any issues at this time. Like I said, upload what you want. I am just trying to create a nice place for everyone to find videos and pics.
If anyone has tons of vids and wants their own directory email me and I will see what you got and hook you up.

Man..... WHoever loaded that 66Mb Silvia file is nutz. They used dialup. Geeez. Also. I dont know if that can stay. That thing wikl kill the bandwidth limit if it keeps getting downloaded too much.
Plus, it is kinda boring. But as long as it doesn't start eating my bandwidth then I will let it stay.

My DSL gets me about 1100 down and 560 up. Yeah. it is good.

well, I have already abnned a couple people. Someone obviously hasnt read the insturctions and keeps trying to connect with annonymous. Oh well, guess they wont get access
By the way, their connection is comming out of Ottowa.
I have setup the FTP connection to turn off everyday for services to do things. The FTP will be open from 9am - 12pm and from 4pm - 9pm So if you are trying to connect between those times, you will not get a connection.

CIDR stands for Classless Inter-Domain Routing. Historically, IP
addresses were assigned within classes: Class A (8 bits of network
address, 24 bits of host address), Class B (16 bits of network
address, 16 bits of host address), or Class C (24 bits of network
address, 8 bits of host address). With the advent of CIDR, address
space is now allocated and assigned on bit boundaries. Using CIDR
means you are able to assign addresses corresponding with the number of hosts on the network, thereby conserving address space.
