I'm not intending to start a flame, and you don't have to waste time replying to this thread.

But let me just clarify what I said, or meant.

I'm not saying Hyundai makes extremely good cars, because they simply can't. Not yet, at least. Germany will always be the leader, I think.

I'm just saying Hyundai cars are not as bad as people think they are. You are correct, people have no respect for them, but that is a highly subjective matter. Just because people THINK Hyundais are bad doesn't mean that they actually are guaranteed to be bad, does it? The true nature of something is not changed by how people perceive it to be.

Yes, opinions are usually derived from established facts. I am simply saying Hyundai has changed, and they are not that bad, really. Of course, this is my OPINION, which I'm entitled to just like anyone else. And my opinion is based on a set of facts and experiences.

Where did my experiences come from? by driving many of the newer Hyundai models, and from having many friends who have Hyundais, and friends who have Maximas.
