Quick Question: What is the rim offset for our car?

Im am bidding on a set of rims on ebay, they 18x7.5 and are 5 lug and have a +45 offset. I just wanted to make sure these will fit my car.

What exactly is the offset? Is there a max. and min. offset?

35 - 40 mm and you need the correct bolt pattern

my monsoons were +45mm and it didn't seem to be a problem, but you should try and get between 35-40

18x7.5s will fit from +35 to +49. I have 19x8 ROH Furies with a + 49 offset.

Thats good enuff verification for me! I wasnt sure if the 17 and 18in caffeines had the same offset. I just paranoid that I will spend all this money on rims and for some reason they wont fit. Thanks 4 yer help guyz!

Bbaker, please take my advice. Make sure you get at least 40mm offset. 35-38 would be better. The butt of our cars are wider than a max. My 40mm offset is tucked in too much in the rear. I will eventually get 5mm H&R spacers. Don't get anything above 40mm.

I have 17X8 wheels with a 32mm offset. They look sweet with the Stillen front lip. You may think that 32mm offset is overkill, but the wheel spokes barely clear my Brembos (seriously 3mm of clearance).
