Unbelieveable...stripped oil return line connector!!!
Just my freaking luck! Today I was going to install the 2.87" SC pulley. As I took off the braided oil return line hose, I somehow stripped the nipple connector that goes into the SC! It's not the nozzle nipple itself, but the female connector that goes into the SC. Right now half of the male connetor end of that is still in the SC. Crap!!! What am I going to do now??? Here's a pic of it, more clearly show what I'm talking about.
Well, Brett broke his...

Do you guys use teflon paste on that brass fitting? Maybe when you install a new one, use some teflon paste. Teflon paste will act as a lubricate and sealeant. This way you don't have to torque it down as much to get a good seal.

That's what I'm going to do. I overtightened it, that's how it got stripped. I'm not sure if that's how Confused broke his off.

Well I got the broken piece that was stuck in the SC off already. It was pretty easy. Now the question is where do I find the replacement for that broken piece? When I took out the broken piece, it was a two inch brass tube that came out from it. Where the heck am I'm going to find one?

Not really, just have to find the replacement part. I'm going to bring the broken piece with me and check out some auto part stores, hopefully one of them might have it.
Call Vortech and ask what the thread size is...
I bet it's a standart 1/8" NPT... all you probably need is to order a couple of pieces from JEGS for male NPT to male -04AN . Vortech might even sell it.

Yeah..like chunger said...it does look like a 1/8" NPT. Most domestic speed shop should carry an adaptor like that but it won't be a long as the one provided by Vortech. Looks like your best bet is order that piece from Vortech on Monday. I would just order a few of them just incase.
Re: Unbelieveable...stripped oil return line connector!!!
dont worry, its easy.. you already found out how easy it is to pull out.. just call up vortech and order the oil line feed into the blower. its about $35. the silver piece attached to the brass is from stillen.. its a 1/8 npt male to -4an male. reuse you stillen part of order a new one (ie. earls or aeroquip) from summit racing.. there not as expensive. if you want to change to oil line routing you can also order different angles from summit. i didn't like the way my line would rub against the metal cross rail on the car so i rerouted mine. if you have no rubbing i wouldn't concern yourself about it. i know some guys flip the ss hose around and use the 120 deg adapter into the blower.
oh, there is a copper washer on the in feed into the blower, make sure you have it or make sure you order it from vortech. i would not use teflon on the in blower fitting. it just doesn't seem necessary as evidenced by the ease of removal.
