I am

Exactly as advertised. Ride is firmer than stock, and combined with Eibach springs and FSTB, the car is completely different and far superior to stock. I have about 10K on mine and mine did not prematurely wear out as has been reported by some others.
My car is a 96SE btw.

The ride is firmer than most would like in PA, which has tons of potholes, but I can live with it.

I'm happy with mine in combination with stock springs. I've got about 20K on them. They did soften up the first month (which is good cuz the ride was pretty harsh initially) but the ride has remained consistent since then. Ride and control at highway speed is great...no slack and the car always feels well planted. no complaints here.

I have never seen a 3-gen guy complain about the Tokicos. Just the 4-gen guys. I might go out on a limb and say Tokico valved their 4-gens ones softer than for the 3-gens. But I hear Tokcico re-valved their 4-gen line stiffer.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my Eibach/Tokico suspension. I have 45K-48K miles on it, and it's still in good shape.

I've got 16k on mine. They feel as good today as the day they were put on. Now get your ride on with a set on Ryan!

Mine has

16K on a 93GXE. This is with Eibachs. Maybe the rear is a little softer at ths "push" test but the car feels the same as when new.

it's funny you mention that - PA was voted 3rd worst roads in America but also voted having the 5th best roads in America LOL. PA was also voted 1st in most improved roads.. we're getting better!

I've had my Tokicos for 15k now and they have been just fine. What killed my ride smoothness was the 17" rims. To be honest, if you want a smooth ride, don't change your springs/shocks, especially on a Maxima which had a pretty lousy ride to begin with (compared with Accord/Camry). But for handling, the Tokicos are great. No complaints from me.

I think the whole Tokico fiasco is that the few people who were not satisfied with them made a huge deal about it and made it look like Tokicos suck for everyone. While it is true that Tokicos are not perfect, they do work great for most people here. Better struts/shocks like Konis come at a higher price than Tokicos, and they require custom installation too.

I have 25k on my tokicos with H&R. The problem i've had was I went to a ****ty shop and they dug up one of the polished rods, which caused one to blow out.

Re: Worst roads

Wow, I think it was last year that PA was voted worst roads by truckers, especially i95.
Quite an improvement!
