You are incorrect. I recently installed a "Standard" speed sensor in my 3rd gen and it was an exact match of the OEM one that I removed from my car and it works works great.

My problem is that I also have another new speed sensor that was supposedly for my car, but it has a shorter wire. Other than that the sensor is an identical match. The part has no manufacture printed on it except what seems to be a part #.

I'm trying to find what car this part belongs on. I pretty sure its for a Nissan Maxima, but I'm not sure what year, model, and transmission.

Someone suggested I take it to Nissan and compare it to OEM parts. The dealership is not close to me, and I was trying to find out what other manufactures make speed sensor to hopefully match up the part #.
