Power RMS
1000 Watts EIA, (1800 Watts Music Program)

Recommended enclosure
1.30 -1.52 cu.ft. sealed (1.8 – 2.50 cu.ft. vented @ 28Hz), Infinite baffle

Xmax (linear)
24.9 mm, (0.98 inch) one-way

Xsus (maximum)
3.5” peak to peak

Voice Coil
Dual 2 ohm or Dual 4 ohm configuration

Sensitivity 1W/1M
93.1 dB 50-150 Hz ground plane. No 88.4 dB

The iDMAX was driven by my Crown Macro Tech 5000VZ home-theater amplifier (rated at 5,000 watts x 1). Interestingly, a single channel of that amplifier configured in stereo (rated for 2,500 watts into 2 ohms) was plenty enough to drive the iDMAX to full output.

The iDMAX is a big boy, and I’d recommend about 50 watts as a good starting point for input power. I think 100 watts would be better, and ID recommends between 100 and 1,800 watts. —TN

700 outta be good, just get your box to 1.5cuft if goign sealed. thats what mine is in and the designer from ID helped me with the deminsions to get that, and he said 1.5 is perfect for SPL/SQ, with a little more SQ from it.

Trust me you will love this thing! Just make a good box for it cause a good box means SOOOOO much

Yup.. don't be screwing around with that thin 3/4" crap.. 1.5" w/ cross bracing minimum there.. which means a HEAVY friggin box- lat alone the 60lb amplifier it takes to push it to its limits.

Stay away from Q-Logic! Those boxes are crap - no bracing, no seal, and particle board!
