I know we have cover this topic already. Sorry to bring this up again. Here's my question to you guys those who own SE-L. How much HP does SE-L has? I'm 100% sure they have 190 HP just like other 4th G. This guy bought used 99 SE-L with 50,000 miles on it and he paid 27,000 out the door few month ago. Dealer told him, SE-L got 212 HP bone stock. What a ********. Does anyone have copy of magazine or something that I can prove him he and dealer are wrong. He don't believe anything I say. Other question is that Nissan only made 2,000 SE-L in US? I'm not sure about this and never heard about this thing before. I think SE-L has just little more option at no extra charge. Like 16' tituinm wheel, se badge on seat, floor mat, and outside and few other stuff adding to SE model.
I'm not dissing his ride. It look tight even tho it's stock. But I can't stand him when he saying he got more HP (212 HP stock ????) and it's much faster than my 96 GXE. I'm sure my ride (intake, exhaust, pipe, and etc) can beat his bone stock auto SE-L. And most of you guys know that 95-96 is slightly faster than 97-98. And 99 is the slowest out of 4th G. Only by few seconds or .0 second due to bigger wheel and weight.
I need some professional help here to prove that his wrong and stop dissing other cars. He spend $27,000 on 50,000 miles car, and he think his car is faster than any other maxima who paid less than him.

 

I paid less for my 1999 SE-L brand new back in March of 1999. Every options except ABS and traction control. He's full of ****. Stop wasting your time with this guy. He is a dumbass. If you want, you can buy my car for $27K =) I'll be glad to sell it to you =) Oh, about the 212hp. That's ******** too. It's just like any other 4th gen. 190hp. How about I'll try to scan a picture of my window sticker? It will show it only has 190HP. Geeze...Why do I even wast my time to prove this guy wrong? I rather leave him stupid. Paid $27K for a car that's only worth $19K at the most.

No kidding....send him to the board, have him post that he has 212hp stock, and let the flames begin!

 

hmm, my 97 gxe has 320 hp stock and I paid only 10 grand for it. Hehe, ok that was corny. But Im a corny guy. hehe

I got a cream puff 99 se Limited with 48k on it in Dec 2000 for $ 14,500.

The wholesale is only 12,500 and book is 17,500 what planet is this guy from, as for the HP well 190 is all we got stock. I would love to claim the same bragging rights to more HP because i own a SE limited. Now my color ( crimson Blaze, that added 5 hp easy) lol...

If you want look under 4gens forum for the same topic about two of three days ago ( SE Limited's ) i posted a copy of what the window sticker said about the SE Limited...

 

Just the fact that he paid $27,000 for a 99 Maxima w/ 50,000 miles on it already tell me how ignorant he is. Don't waste your time. I think Jambo posted one time the statistics of how many Maxima were made in which color but I'm not sure about the fact that 2000 SE-Ls were made.
