BOV ?? & backfiring with V2

only after the custom CAI and testpipe does backfiring happen, and only upon deceleration off throttle while in gear. Does anyone else experience this? I'm sure the testpipe doesn't help but the popping sound is annoying.

While I'm asking Q's, how have you guys tuned your BOV's. Sometimes during low RPM upshifts it seems like it's not set loose enough and the SC is surging. (not venting with the throttle plate closed) don't want to damage to the SC.

SETUP:
AE Max 5spd
V2 3.125 (10psi)
SARD BOV
6:1 FMU, haven't been running lean yet
CAI (in fender)
Testpipe
Y pipe and Catback
Colder NGK's

Thanks for any help

Oh Boy!
What does Matt have to say?
This is exactly why I drove around for $400 miles, almost constantly, after the SC was installed. Tested it thoroughly before leaving for Chicago.

Anyways, CHECK YOUR PLUGS RIGHT AWAY!

that's not a backfire bud...it's because with the test pipe in place of the cat, you have even LESS sound deadening in the exhaust. The sound you are hearing it the turbulence of the exhaust because the front bank length of the y-pipe is longer than the rear bank in a nutshell. Nothing is wrong with your car.

Do a search for "cumalot backfire" he was recently asking some questions that might sound the same as yours.

Yeah I had a similar problem. What I was told I got the backfire because after pushing it hard at full boost, I let off too quickly thus I got the backfire. I do have a test pipe too. Search for that thread.

MAF senses air -> let off gas -> BOV opens -> sensed air exits without MAF knowing -> extra fuel -> POP

An AFC can correct this.
