Everyone selling Maximas

Is it just me or a lot of Maxima.org members are selling their cars? I am talking about the members who are very beneficial to this web site.

Not me. I'll have my Max until it dies. I can't wait until I pay it off so I can have the extra cash for trips with my family. I just bought a condo so things will be tight for a little while.

I don't want to sell mine, but when you lose your job it
is hard to maintain a house two cars etc.

I still have my 99 SE.

like me but I'm not loaded to take a 5k loss on a car I have for 9 months. I will just keep the hunk of junk and try not to through to much money in it. All i need is about another 5k or mods and I will be happy

I will be keeping my Maximas for a long time to come I will probably hold on to the 97 longer than the 02 although. I like the look better and it has given me less problems, best bang for the buck out their IMO.

or just wishing it was something it isn't.

One day people will learn that buying cars are the worst investments that can be made.

No plans to sell here. I am brand new to the forums but feel like I should have been signed up a long time ago. I have two maximas. A 95 Beige GLE with 202,000 miles and still running strong. Only things i've replaced are tires, brakes, one oxy sensor, and the starter. I've never had a car this reliable ever.
I also have a 2000 White SE with all the upgrades (Bose, leather, heated seats, TCS, and so on) It has 45,000 miles and is fun as well.

One day....I plan to hand down my max to my son (who won't appreciate it) and will probably crash it causing me to break his neck, which in turn will make my wife divorce me, leaving me a lonely and bitter soul.

F that. I'm keeping my baby till the end...

Yep.

I have no reasoning for selling mine, but then again, I'm not very important.

I have wanted a Maxima since I drove one over 3 years ago. I could not afford it at the time so I had to wait. Now that I have it, I won't be getting rid of mine anytime soon. I am shooting for 200,000 miles.

Dont know, it would rip your car to shreds though, especially to 60.

Blizz, I've been looking at cars for a few months now. I decided that the Maxima wasn't REALLY what I wanted, even though I love alot of things about it. I am trading off some things for the Camaro, but for me it's worth it. To each their own. It's not as sharp looking right now as my max is, but it's not staying stock!

Thats why I leased mine!

I just turned it in about a month ago and walked away. Nissan is now taking a very cold bath on it.

I will never ever buy a used car, especially manual tranny from a dealership.... this is another reason why. My lease right now, another reason why also.

I'm keeping the max until I finish school then it will be my second car and the daily driver will probably be a some sports coupe with a lot more power then a max. I still got 4 more semesters to go but with my luck it will be 6 I also plan on leasing I can't afford abusing a paid off car like my max.

I just bought my car 2 months ago and I wouldn't THINK of selling it
.......err, that is, unless someone offered me a sale I couldn't refuse!

Then I'd go with a 6-speed .....like I should've gotten to begin with. *sigh*
