How did YOU find the .ORG?

I hope this hasn't been done before......but I'm curious as to how all of you have come to find the .org.

Me?
Well I bought my 2k1 in December of 2000.
I had the car for about a week and one day I sat at my computer
and ran a search on Google(i think). Typed in the word "Maxima"
and low and behold.....before my very eyes I saw the words:

Maxima.Org - Home for the MAXIMA Enthusiast.

I clicked on the link....and the rest is history.

So tell me...how did YOU find the .org

Please vote and comment if you wish.

Thanks

was on some general Infiniti sites. When I mentioned I wanted to do some performance mods I got flammed. I was told an intake would hurt my cars performace. I knew I need do find a place that people knew what they were talking about.
I did not think a Maxima site would welcome me, but I soon realized there were many I30 owners here. Been checking new posts everyday since. Wallet has gotten a bit lighter since

I joined like a week after Max.org was created (James92se...from which I cant post anymore. Jamie ). And before I joined I lurked at first. lol

I found it from a search engine on those desperate searches back in the day for anything Maxima related. I searched every few days for a couple months with nothing (aside from the 'other' 3rd gen forum) then one day Max.org popped up and was obviously new. So on I went.

I remember the good ole days of generation-3.com

Whats a search engine?

Can it be put into my 4th gen?

Can I put a Turbo on it?

What cars can I beat if I do the search engine swap?

Sorry, I had to!

oh sh*t! mah bad...i thought you were saying that I didn't have a 2k1
which would basically be saying that the dealer sold me a 2k and lied about it. For the last five minutes I've been racking my brains for
differences between the 2k and the 2k1 and I was pretty sure that I did in fact have the 2k1 but you made me doubt myself.....doesn't help that I have serious issues regarding trust and salesmen.

i almost got upset over nothing

Lurked on Peel's board and ended up here.

...But I have been on Maxima Boards back in 97 when Evan had his BBS. That was back in the day when I owned my 92. Then moved on to a 99.

Who knows...I'm glad you told me about it. Knowing me, I probably would never have known about a Maxima enthusiasts site that was out there.
