Man I want a 94 RX7

A friend of mine ran a 13.1

Stock twins/boost.

Dual K&N's
Greddy Cat Back
Blitz BOV
18x8f
18x9r Volks.
Tein coilovers
toe-links....nylon bushings.....etc

On street tires.

I cant wait to see his times when get converts to the single turbo.

Hi Aaron. Yes, they are very light and can put out the power. Fragile engines though Tuning and preventing detonation(as to not to blow the apex seals) is probably 2-3x more critical than on a piston engine.

Yeah I guess the a/f mixture it super critical with those cars.

I just figured I'd share that........no biggy..... 13.1 practically stock...70k miles.

They won the 24hrs at LeMans with a rotary. Didn't seem like they had cooling issues then? When people upgrade, they do it in the wrong order I've heard. For the rotaries, you should upgrade the cooling first, then boost etc...

It's like turboing a 4-gen to 30psi and then saying it has piston issues.

I love them but the cooling issues are crap. They are known to catch fire or dry out hoses very fast due to heat. There are some in particular (underthe manifold maybe) that loose vaccuumand lose tons of HP. In some writeups and forums they have seen losses of about 30Hp.
