bye bye max :-(

my max.....its gone I was driving in rainy weather, going about forty-five when my car hydroplaned and went into a median, hit two posts, and went into oncoming traffic. front damage to the sides. and my transmission is gone. Rims are bent badly, and all tires blew out. car wont move at all. This just happened a few hours ago. I had to share my grief. I love you max bye...

Thank you everyone for your reassurance. The hit was pretty bad.
My two airbags deployed. I dont knoiw where my car is right now.
I have full insurance coverage. I am really gonna miss the car.
i barely had it for 7 months. Does anyone know what the damage would come out to? The including was damaged: Transmission. Totally gone, Car wont move. Both wheels jammed onto fenderwall. All tires blew out. My airbags deployed. damaged to both fenders. I dont know if engine was damaged looks like it, even though the engine still ran.Minor damgage to passenger and driver's door. Am i looking at a totaled. at least if it is, i get 15,000 for a new car.but my life revolved around my car.

no offense taken. Its cux im barely 17 and i depended on my car to get to and from school and job....and when i thought things were going to get better, i get suspended from my job, and i am possibly going to get fired. but yeah i needed my car to do a lot of things, now its gone. Hey if I have full coverage, will my insurance company give me rental car in the meanwhile while my car is being repaired(or probably totaled?

That sucks, sorry.

The only plus side is that with your next car, you'll drive better from experience. That's really a crappy plus point ... sorry.

It really depends on your insurance. You need to check your policy to see what it will cover. Even if it DOES pay for a rental, expect an econobox. The insurance company may pay toward a rental but probably in the $25 or less range.

I know you said you are 17 but don't get too bent on the car. I know you liked it but understand that Nissan made more than one of that car during that model year. You can replace it.

You survived the wreck and be thankful that you did. Believe me when I say that jobs will come and go and so will cars.

that sucks, but at least your ok. I mean, it almost happened to me too. I live in cally and when the rain hit the first day, it rained like CRAZY In here! But your only 17 and you have a 4th GEN!!! Thats pretty good, compared to me when i was 17 driving a ghetto car, i hated it so much i dont even remember! It was like a a box. But insurance is gonna cover you so then your fine, so your gonna get a 350z! DAMN! Your a lucky kid.

Good to hear you wre in such good condition to get on the internet and tell us right away.

About your insurance, they might give you what the car was insured for. If that's the case then use all of it for down payment...it'll make everything cheaper. You can get a Z, or a G35, or a new Max...but if you have a tight money situation because of the job thing, then try going for a 03 SE-R. That's what I would do... take my $7k and use it for down...pay monthly payments that are less than 175 a mo.

17 grand is awesome... mine was salvage titled so they insured it for how much i bough the car. You can do a lot with those 17k. Good Luck with your new Nissan/Infiniti product

not exactly how it works. You will get the value of the car NOW. You won't get 17 grand for it. The value of it today.
