NVIS Key Question
NVIS Key Question
In a car with NVIS (the chip in the key), can take a regular Nissan key and have an extra made for the sole purpose of working in the door?
I don't need 2 to start the car, but I'd like to give my g/f a key incase I lock mine in the car. Right now she has the extra remote, but you never can trust those batteries.

Not me.
My trunk lock is busted. Strangly enough, it was busted on my 97 as well.

If you start the car without a chipped key it'll start, but shut off quickly as if you pulled the fuel pump fuse.
