How much have you blown on tickets?

How much have you blown on tickets?
Who has gotten multiple tickets here? I'm talking like in excess of 3, if so how much money was wasted on them total, including: ticket, insurance, classes etc. I've been pulled over once, but no ticket, what about you guys?

you guys need to slow down and quit driving like asshow maniacs...i can understand a lil over the speed limit and all, but doing enough do deserve thousands is crazy...how do you still have your licenses? you'd think you would learn your lesson after dropping that kind of money, and some do, but apparently a lot of people do not.
people who get pulled over more than just a few times either have the worst luck ever, or are obviously just driving like idiots and shouldn't have the priveledge of driving.

0$ for me. even though i got pulled over for racing once, but the cop was after my friend(hes notorious with the cops in my town) and he didnt have me clocked(i was doing about 85 in a 30 ) I coulda been screwed pretty good..... tickets=less money for mods hehe

in my 7 years of driving i have gotten a ticket for passing a stop sign $65, speeding 85 in a 65 $150 (was going to buffalo and dam that road was straight, didn't notice i was going that fast), standing at a bus stop $30, and a parking meter expired $35. and took that insurance cost thing and forgot how much it was.. no tickets in the past 3 years.. on wood..

ive only been driving for like a year and a half, but in that year and a half ive managed 2 speeding tickets 250$ combined and 3 parking tickets $90. i could give a flying f*ck about my parking tickets but i am not proud of the speeding tickets, but i have definatly cooled off before i get hurt of more importantly hurt someone else, it was more or less a blessing in disguise i suppose

probably a couple grand here...
only two actual incidents, both of which I beat with lawyers (or would have lose my license both times...) - but good lawyers mean BIG money.. I have 0 points on my license, and have been pulled over maaybe 15 times now? the close to 13times I have been let off with a "warning" just goes to show 3 things..
#1 how much it pays off to be nice to police , and humble/sorry/etc..
#2 how great louisville police are.
#3 pays to have a family-carrying-looking 4door "sedan"
oh , and make that +3more times if you include the 3 times this past week I got pulled over ON MY GOLF CART.. danged police need something better to do!

Most of my tickets were before the age of 20. That is why younger people, especially males, have high insurance. I have not had a moving violation in close to 2 yrs now. Although I just paid $150 in tickets for my tint and no front license plate
Getting pulled over does not make one and idiot. But Making posts like yours just might.

Hmm... how does 3 tickets in 2 weeks sound?
Yeap... 1 for unauthroized blue lights (my neons under the car) I forgot to turn them off when coming back from DPA. Another one for parking at a Hydrant ($105). And last but not least no right turn. I was in the city and thought that sign only applied ob weekdays. Ain't NYC Great

you can argue with me all you'd like but you and i know it is stupid to drive at crazy speeds on the highway or race or anything like that when you're near other people.
i'll agree probably lots of times, people are just in the wrong place at the wrong time and aren't lucky and get screwed, but you have to admit a lot of the time they definately deserve to get caught.
I30tMikeD, i never said getting pulled over made you an idiot, i simply said driving crazy enough to time and time again get outrageous tickets makes you one. thanx for calling me one...btw, the jerkstore called, they're running out of you...

Now, let's say you got a few tickets under your belt, let's say 2 or 3, how do you know you still wouldn't go 80 or 85 on the highway? your trying to tell me that you'd go 65 all the time if you had a few tickets?? I find that hard to belive. But since you don't have tickets, neither of us can make a prediction about that, because I don't know if it would affect your driving, and you don't either, you've been lucky you haven't been pulled over more, and so have I, so don't place people, who have gotten alot of tickets, in a group and label them assho**s when you yourself have no idea what it is like to have the number of tickets that they have (when you very well could have some). It could very well be you.

what is up your ***? what are you looking for from me?
i apologize to all those who feel i was mean calling them "asshows"... i however do not need take anything back because i have my opinions and can voice it. people who drive like maniacs on the roads deserve to be ticketed. if they continuously do that then i don't think they should be able to drive. plain and simple. it is not up to me however, so if you disagree that's fine. there is no way you can defend people who keep getting these large tickets. granted, people may have gotten them years ago and are better drivers now...however, people who still haven't learned their lessons should be lucky they're simply being called names. to everyone else who has improved their driving and with good records, good for you and keep it up. blah blah blah...

i have 2 speeding tickets ... total of about $500
i once got 3 tickets in a 3 hour span ... got a speeding ticket and expired insurance, then 3 hours later. I get pulled over for "whipping a U'ie" in a parking lot, almost got a reckless driving ticket but when the cop asked me why i did it, i told him "officer, i was just trying to be cool". I only got a ticket for expired insurance.
6 points and the suspended for one month .... sucks

You and I both know you don't have to be driving crazy to get a ticket. We have all seen a cop posted on the side of a road hidden from sight using his radar. Somebody has to be the unlucky driver going past him a little fast. If a driver is repeatedly getting tickets for driving dangerously he will have his license taken away, just as you want to happen. It's called reckless driving. There is a big difference between reckless driving and just getting a ticket.
About the $$, I'll say it again. Thousands of dollars is not from the fines. It is from the insurance premiums.
Anyway, The jerk store??? You must be joking with that one. I must say I can't hold anything against someone who gives me a good laugh. I was not trying to be an "jerk", just responding to your post with the same cocky attitude. Be carefull out there, just as you start talking about not getting tickets and being lucky, that is usually when your luck runs out.

yeah dude i totally agree. i tried to cover all that but i guess i got up in other points. insurance sure does suck with all that stuff, but what are ya gonna do. btw, the jerkstore joke is from seinfeld...glad you got a few laughs out of it...no hard feelings.
nice car btw...

I'm 18 and I feel bad cuz my pops pays for my insurance and car. Since hes gotten my car I've been in one major accident totaling 10g in damage to both cars and I think the driver sued and got 5gs from the insurance. My insurance was like 2 bills a month now its like 3bills. That is NOT including my 90mph ticket I just got like 2 months ago. My dad said insurance still hasnt sent the bill, but when they do my insurance will be up there. Close to 4 bills or something? I feel pretty bad and I know I don't deserve this car and I hope I dont *** up anymore. (Woah didnt mean to tell my story with my car. heh sorry)
How much does your guys insurance usually go up after u get a 90mph ticket? Does it really take that long for the insurance premium to go up? a few months? or is my dad just lying to me to guilt trip me. And im knocking on wood hoping i dont get any more tickets or accidents. *knocks on wood*
