Lately on cold startups, the interior power doesn't work.
For example, windows wouldn't go down, the glow lights
for the no seat belt is dim, the glow lights for the
heat & vent buttons is dim, etc. and today it's even
worse...the car starts and i get head lights. but
i get no turn signals. i turn on the heat, but only
the fan works. then i drove for like about five minutes,
everything came back to life. all the glow lights became
bright again, the heat came through, and my turn signal
worked again.

the car battery is only one yr old so i don't suspect that.
is it the alternator? but the car started without a problem.
it's a 96 max and i have 151k miles. i haven't changed
anything major yet like alternator, starter, etc. any ideas?

Maybe a bad/loose connection at the fuse box under the hood or at the battery? I had a similar problem with my TQuattro and the bottom of the fuse box was corroded...

Check for a loose connection
