It seems that the higher rpms i go the worse it is...at first I was thinking my clutch is slipping bad, but maybe its my belts slipping? The RPM's don't seem to be going way up fast like it should if it slipped, just seems to be a terrible loss in power and my redline seems to have gone down to like 4k, lol.

any ideas?
thx in advance

heck, I can grab at straws!

What do I know, I pay the dealer for repairs
I recently had a symptom where my power dropped a bit, but not terribly, and my milage went through the floor. Eventually the check engine light came on, and it was some part that basically forced the ECU to miscalulate fuel/air ratio.
The only time I had power drop off suddenly like you describe is when I had an exhaust leak in another car, but there is a big increase in noise. Other than that, maybe you're not firing all cylinders.

good luck

TUNEUP !!!!!! Change your oil,oil filter, sparkplugs, clean your throttle body, change your fuel filter, drain and refill trans fluid/replace trans filter. Look at your owners manual and follow what is recommend for the mileage of your car.

Had the same problem in my old Galant GSR. The problem was from one of the two ignition coil transistors going bad. I could be wrong but check your ignition system to see if you have spark in all of your cylinders. BTW, my problem came and went until it did it all the time. I gave the car toy brother to fix after that, and after fixing the coil, the car ran 150% better.
