MY 02 sensor and knock sensor problem FINALLY gone!
I had replaced the rear 02 sensor, reset my ecu, and then the CEL came back on.
I drove it around for awhile and decided to stop by Autozone for a free OBD2 scan, as I was feeling to lazy to mess with the ECU.
It dropped me 3 02 sensor codes and the knock sensor.
It ended up being one of the fuses was blown. CEL has not come back on since replacing the fuse! I will hold my breath for now.
On another note, my dealer service team swears up and down the knock sensor itself will not send a CEL light. I then asked how one would know the sensor was bad then, and did not get a usuable response. Oh well. I will just have to wonder if it is bad for now.
<EDIT> Dealer is right. The only true way to find out is to test the resistance on the KS. Also without the CEL on, check for codes. If only code is the KS code(0304), then you have a good case for the KS being bad. Just to make sure, reset the ECU one more time and check the code.</EDIT>
Good luck to those still trying to fix their o2 and knock sensor problems, I hope this may work for someone else!
