I am interested in installing a rear sway bar on a 99Se-L does anybody have one on their max? How much of a difference does it make? Where can I get one?

I just put one in a month ago...all i can say is wow! it feels like a different car, a much smaller, better handling car that is. The car just digs in a cuts up the offramps with ease, the oversteer is 95% gone. IMO it's a must have, talk to "got rice" on this forum about getting you one.

Yeah, get an RSB, you won't regret it.

I got RSB installed it did make the car more stable, but..

it still rolls, meaning car still leans to one side when cornering.
I beging to think that it is the way the Maxima's suspension is designed.
I have FSTB and RSB on 2000 SE with 17" and the car still pitches side to side when driven over uneven surfaces. It feels unstable at times.
Those items(FSTB and RSB) do help, but I still doesn't like the handling when taking corners with my car, it just doesn't feel planted.

Oh well, hope Nissan puts a real suspension in this car someday.

Hey Dany

Sup dude. Why don't you wanna lower your ride? I'm thinking of getting H&Rs and Konis next spring.

That's my second mod after FSTB.
IMO,the RSB is worth every penny spent.
Car is much more neutral and none of that plowing action in turns anymore. You'll be taking corners at higher speed and more importantly with confidence. You can get one from http://www.cattmanpeformance.com or shox.com.
Good Luck.

I did lowered my 95 SE with H&Rs and wasn't very impresed...

you see it is because freaking Maxima suspension is designed very poorly, so even when lowering it, I didn't feel like car became more stable and better cornering.
Maybe Eibachs would have been different. And also don't get Tokicos, I had them on 95 SE, and they sucked big time.

About lowering my 2000 SE, I don't think I will be doing anything too it anymore. I got FSTB and RSB that will be it.
Thinking of selling 2000 SE this summer maybe, depends if I get a good job though.

Got my eyes set on 5-speed manual IS300 when it comes out.

Oh yeah, wona buy my Max. It only got 14K on it.

Later.
